(Welcome to the website for Greater Cleveland Council's National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course. Designed for youth leaders of Boy Scout Troops, this seven-day course focuses on the concepts of what a leader must BE, what he must KNOW, and what he must DO. These key concepts form the foundation of the presentations, activities, challenges, and discussions participants engage in throughout the week. As a result, participants develop the skills and confidence to lead.
Leadership, fun, challenge, adventure - National Youth Leadership Training offers all of those and much more. The NYLT program is the centerpiece of the council's training opportunities for youth, providing local troops with outstanding youth leaders and giving those Scouts the tools and leadership ideals they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self or others.
